A Crescent School District Employee is taking Francis Tuttle eLearning CurriculumCrescent, Okla. - Instructors from all grade levels recently convened in the computer lab to receive sign-on instructions and passwords to Francis Tuttle Technology Center's eLearning network of courses. A short presentation and walk-through of the enrollment process soon had them on their way to selecting from over 1,250 online learning opportunities (courses).
Francis Tuttle's Chief Technology Officer, Russ Hester, said that Crescent is not alone. Each of Francis Tuttle's sending school partners have access to the entire range of eLearning courses. And they are joined by people from 30 states and 14 countries participating in a Francis Tuttle eLearning course. Individuals and businesses alike are taking advantage of 24 hour per day, any day access to training.
"Crescent was on board from the start," said Hester. "Some very computer-savvy teachers did not want to wait for a presentation of the enrollment site. They wanted their password so they could get started on their own. Enrolling online is a simple process, and only takes a few minutes."
Crescent Public Schools Training Coordinator Beverly McCombs said that instructors are excited about the online curriculum. "The variety of available offerings creates a wonderful opportunity for instructors to customize their staff development plans to their individual needs."
