Two free English as a Second Language classes will be offered at Francis Tuttle Technology Center beginning in January. Both low-literacy and intermediate-literacy ESL classes will be co-sponsored by Francis Tuttle and the Mid-Del Adult Learning Center, a division of the Lifelong Learning Section of the Oklahoma State Department of Education.
The intermediate-literacy ESL class will begin Monday, January 22, 2007, meeting every Monday and Wednesday except for legal holidays through May 9, 2007, at Francis Tuttle's Rockwell Campus, 12777 N. Rockwell Avenue.
The low-literacy ESL class will begin Tuesday, January 23, 2007, meeting every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. through May 8, 2007 at the same location.
All ESL curriculum will be provided and the classes will be taught by Oklahoma-certified ESL instructors. Rosetta Stone, a computerized-language software program, will also be provided as part of the curriculum.
