Grading/Reporting Grades

All Career Training Programs at Francis Tuttle are divided into courses. Grades are recorded and transcripted as course grades and are assigned letter grades only.
Courses will vary in length. The instructor determines the weight given to written tests and performance tests in determining grades.

The following grading scale is used
90-100 - A
80-89 - B
70-79 - C
60-69 - D
Below 60 – F

Re-testing is available in all departments and will be explained during the departmental orientation. You may ask your instructor to see your grades at any time.  Francis Tuttle is responsible for sending grades of secondary students to the appropriate high school and for submitting course grades upon completion to the appropriate college.
