This program prepares students to become Database Administrators and/or Database Programmers. Database Administrators are responsible for the accuracy, security, and accessibility of company data. Database Programmers write, test and maintain programs that manipulate information stored in databases. Both provide technical expertise in the design, implementation, and maintenance of relational database management systems and applications. Enroll in this program and prepare for careers in these highly paid occupational areas. These career pathways include courses in database theory, database design, database programming using SQL and PL/SQL, database administration, performance tuning, and backup/recovery using relational database products from one of the largest vendors - Oracle. We are certified by Oracle as an Oracle Academy member in the Advanced Computer Science and Business track and the Enterprise Business Applications track. Starting Salaries
Database Programmer - $12.00 to $18.00 per hour

Tuition Rates
Adult students pay standard rate of $840 per semester for full-time or $420 per semester for part-time.
Note: Evening classes have a separate tuition rate.
Students must purchase books for an approximate cost of $400 for the entire program.
Official Oracle and CompTIA certification exams are administered by Prometric Testing Centers. A Prometric Testing Center is located at Francis Tuttle's Portland Campus. Students are responsible for exam fees.
Certification exams average $125, and there are exams in these areas: SQL, PL/SQL, Linux, Administration Workshop I and II.
