The Pre-Engineering Academy is designed to prepare high school students for success in colleges of engineering. Rigorous math and science (Honors and AP level only) are combined with engineering related classes to provide you with the academics you will need and an understanding of engineering to help you decide if this is truly the field you wish to pursue.

You may attend for up to three (3) school years. Graduates from the Academy should be planning to pursue a University Level track to obtain a degree in some discipline of engineering.

Starting Salaries

The median salary for Engineers (Bachelor's Degree) in the Oklahoma City area is approximately $47,000 per year.


Employment Opportunities

Engineering positions after attaining an Engineering Degree from an accredited college.


Tuition Rates

No tuition for high school students.
Students are expected to provide a TI-83 PLUS or TI-84 Graphing Calculator (approximately $100.00), a flash drive (approximately $30.00), and to purchase one (1) Engineering Notebook ($6.50) each year.
